I make sure all the tasks are being completed and the inspections to done before the start of any work.

Day to day responsibilities is subcontractor management and looking after specific items on site. This includes making sure deliveries are locked in for specific items, and making sure those specific items are installed correctly.

I work in the marketing and communications team and I help with developing content for internal and external platforms. I also help out with sponsorship activations

I am a role of graduate engineer. My daily activities are: 1. Docket tracking. 2.working on ITP. 3.Quantity take off. 4.Preparing Service control plan 5.Material tracking

Role is very diverse, time spent planning, working on procurement, site activities, tracking.

As a graduate engineer most of the day is spent helping in the planning, preparation, supervision and quality assurance of works. There is a variety of works that needs to be completed and depending on the stage of the project, this is either paperwork and procedures or time spent on site.

Permits, cost coding dockets, procurement, safety, QA

Get to site by 6:30am for pre-start. Check emails, collect and enter dockets into cost tracker. Conduct stock take of the materials on site, go to construction site which is a short drive from site compound. Do a routine inspection of the construction site, supervise works for the day, quality control, health and safety compliance, documenting by taking pictures and measurements etc.

I am a graduate engineer. I am pretty much involved in everything. Currently working on procurement packages to send to subcontractor. Calling and discussing any queries. Preparing RFP packages. Teaching my fellow team who have not used or are not familiar with the Myjobs system, the Myjobs. Assisting in management plans (Transport and Logistics & Procurement). Creating site office facility layout. Helping develop a sharepoint working folder system.

- RFA, RFIs - Corresponding with clients and consultants - Scheduling subcontractors, including: o RFP, price comparisons, DJC review, subcontract generation, CMS onboarding/compliance etc - Subbie invoice tracking/review - Weekly progress reports (productivities, 3-week lookaheads) - QA tracking, collation, submission - Generating Management Plans, ITPs, SWMS - Achieving safety and environmental KPIs - ABCs, weekly inspections, pre/post rainfall, plant pre-start checklists

Subcontractor management mainly, this involves planning and racking progress across the job.

Managing sub-contractors and delivering parts of projects to high standards.

I was an estimator for first 6 months in BMD. I enjoyed being part of the team and hief estimator was very helpful mentor. He is always there for you and is always trying to provide the best for the team. I have been in the site for 3 months now. It is fast paced in site compared to the office and due to lack of recourse, I was not able to have a mentor. So, learning in site is difficult without proper mentor to guiding me through. The work culture itself in both site and office is phenomenal.

When I'm on site, my responsibilities are to chase up on the test results from the Geotech and organise a testing when we need to. Check the ITP's, put away the test results according to their area of work. It is also my responsibility to check the weather and put information on the rain register.
