What's on offer

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work across the Environmental Improvement and Compliance business unit, which leads the protection, conservation, and management of the City's environment in collaboration with our partners in Infrastructure Gold Coast and Waste Management. The successful candidate will work with a variety of stakeholders including local and state government bodies, consultancies, contractors and research institutions to achieve environmental outcomes that ensure we prioritise the protection and preservation of the City's unique environment. 

You will gain exposure to areas including catchment management, environmental impact assessment, statutory approvals and planning and environmental management to ensure the City's infrastructure and assets are delivered and operated in an environmentally responsible manner ensuring positive environmental outcomes that are compliant with Australia's environmental laws, in balance with the needs of the community.
