You will need to be able to go to the site for a period of time.

On completion, you will have the opportunity to work in roles across Inland Rail until it is scheduled for operation in 2027.

Main responsibilities

You will work under the guidance and leadership of experienced team members providing safety support to successfully execute the relevant projects in line with the HSE targets.

Your development program will see you, and will not be limited to:

  • Ensure HSE compliance by ensuring contractors comply with ARTC’s requirements and contributing to developing a strong HSE culture amongst contractors and IR Project Management Team;

  • Accurately working on HSE reporting through assisting with incident investigations, identifying HSE and quality trends and analysing HSE performance in relevant reports and forums; and,

  • Collaboratively and efficiently working with contractors to manage quality trends in a timely manner.

About you

We are seeking enthusiastic graduates who are invested in and committed to their personal and professional development. To be eligible for consideration, you should have completed a Bachelor's in relevant fields such as safety, science, or engineering in the last two years, as well as:

  • Demonstrable ability to work in an organised, well-ordered, and autonomous manner;
