Your role

Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Communications, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Product communications: Assist with the delivery of total product communications plans for the Nissan vehicle range in Australia and New Zealand. Support the creation of publicity and national editorial coverage for Nissan vehicles
  • Photo shoots: Arrange content and photo shoots for Nissan products
  • Lifestyle Media: Work closely with the lifestyle media agency to deliver Nissan’s brand ambassador strategy
  • Press Fleet: Manage Nissan’s press fleet vehicles in Australia to drive editorial coverage
  • Global representation: Interact with colleagues across the globe to support internal communications needs
  • Internal communications events: Take the lead on organising key dates within the Nissan calendar, which includes global initiatives such as International Women's Day and RU OK? Day.
  • Administration support: Use your excellent organisational skills to manage the department’s administrative needs effectively and smoothly. This will include budget and ambassador contract coordination and day-to-day operational requirements.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • A passionate brand advocate who likes to build their own brand as well as contribute to a global business brand.
  • Confidence to develop and grow relationships both internal and external with multiple stakeholders (from senior to junior) to drive outcomes
  • Attention to detail in all your work with the ability to write and proofread content for digital print as well as blog posts.
  • Excellent communication at all levels - they are seeking a bright motivated individual who is a genuine people person with high levels of engagement.
  • Be confident and comfortable completing tasks; initially taking instruction and quickly growing your understanding to your own completion.
  • Have well-rounded interpersonal skills – both written and verbal.
  • Developing financial and commercial acumen to coordinate costings and budgets.
