Our two-year graduate program will provide you with hands-on experience to partner with experts in your discipline and across departments to set you up for an invigorating and successful career in the mining industry!

•    Graduate - Mechanical Engineering
•    Graduate - Electrical Engineering
•    Graduate – Metallurgy

Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta))
Roster:  8 days on; 6 days off

How You Will Create Impact

• Foster a positive safety culture based on open and transparent communication 
• Support an environment of continuous improvement within the operating teams
• Enable an inclusive environment within the Carrapateena site, by supporting activities associated with developing a strong team culture
• Develop and maintain competency in operational areas, against the competency-based training and assessment framework outlined in the onboarding process. 
• Interface with other departments on a day-to-day basis to maximize value across the business, to the benefit of the total asset rather than the department or the individual.

What We Value

• Completed or due to complete by end of 2022 relevant studies in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering (or similar)
• Understanding of FIFO work
• Willingness to work underground
• Willing to learn or able to drive a manual vehicle
