Role description 

In this diverse role, your key responsibility will be to support the programmatic sales team and own the programmatic operations function. You will assist in managing end-to-end processes from pre to post sale, and ensure Pedestrian Group continues to deliver best-in-market results for our clients.

Reporting to the National Group Programmatic Manager, the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, as well as having the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships.

You will be joining Pedestrian Group amidst an exciting phase of growth and have the opportunity to work with some of Australia’s best brands including Pedestrian TV, Business Insider, Gizmodo, Kotaku, Lifehacker, VICE and Refinery29.

Responsibilities:

  • Traffic clients’ programmatic advertising campaigns across various deal types - programmatic guaranteed, preferred deal & private auction.
  • Manage delivery of clients’ programmatic campaigns, providing regular reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively optimise programmatic campaigns to deliver the best possible client outcomes.
  • Technical troubleshooting of programmatic deals, liaising with external stakeholders to provide a resolution.
  • Maximise revenue generated from clients through recommended optimisations and identifying cross selling/up-selling opportunities.
  • Liaise directly with clients on behalf of the sales team to facilitate a smooth end-to-end sales process.
  • Support internal business reporting requirements for programmatic, 3rd party & affiliate revenue streams.
  • Assist the National Group  Programmatic Manager with the management of programmatic inventory & yield.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to help drive wider business projects (product development/optimisation & technology implementation).

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets and Google Slides. 
  • The ability to effectively manage time across a diverse set of tasks.
  • Knowledge of the programmatic and digital ad-tech ecosystem including SSPs, ad serving & DMPs preferred.
  • Experience in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and/or Display and Video 360 (DV360)
  • 1+ years relevant experience in Media operations, preferably at a digital publisher
