2022 Fire Engineering/Designer Intern null

Day to day tasks would include:

• 3D BIM modelling using Revit
• 3D BIM modelling clash detection and resolution utilising Navisworks
• Estimating
• Producing operating & maintenance manuals
• Quality assurance and administration work, including reviewing/updating safety documentation, ITP's etc
• BIM Modelling

Software skills that are preferred but not required will include the use of AutoDesk Revit, Navisworks, BIMTrack, Revizto, Microsoft Office
applications (word, excel, project) or similar software packages is preferential but not required.

We would be looking to train the successful applicant in the following skills:

• 3D BIM modelling using Revit
• 3D BIM modelling clash detection and resolution utilising Navisworks
• Using completed designs to prepare fabrication sheets utilising specific fabrication software

Soft skills should include an eagerness to learn, ability to pick things up quickly and work well under pressure.
We offer a flexible work arrangement to suit students with the ability to work additional hours on semester breaks and weekends once trained if
desired.
