What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
As a grad, I am extremely satisfied with my starting salary.
Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Aug 2024
It seems like the general consensus it that it is very much below inventory pay. As a first year graduate you are unable to receive a bonus.
Graduate, Perth - 09 Aug 2024
Pretty average starting salary. However, very defined bonus goals.
Graduate, Sydney - 05 Aug 2024
Low salary and no bonus
Graduate, Melbourne - 05 Aug 2024
Not sure on the remuneration/pay process. Maybe needs more transparency.
Graduate, Sydney - 05 Aug 2024
Average for big 4 professional service firms. Seems low relative to industry pay (as expected), especially for over hours in busy season.
Graduate, Sydney - 05 Aug 2024
Everyone, no matter where they work, wants to be paid more than they are. I think what I am paid for is fair but would like to be paid more.
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
The pay doesn't match current trends in the wider market. I don't make much more than I did before I graduated from uni
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
A little low
Graduate, Brisbane - 05 Aug 2024
Not the best paying job for the hours worked.
Graduate, Sydney - 10 Nov 2023
Not the best, but could be worse.
Graduate, Adelaide - 10 Nov 2023
Grateful for the pay start as a graduate.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
pay rates are lower than anticipated
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
Obviously everyone always wants more but when you're a grad and the pay is good enough thats all you need. I know the pay will go up nicely as I move up the ranks and my future opportunities improve greatly with the experience and training I'm gaining. Would also think the bonuses could be slightly better.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Good for starting salary
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
the pay is fairly ordinary
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Pay is very low compared to other accountants, especially considering the working hours
Graduate, Perth - 07 Nov 2023
Pay is ok but expected at my level. There will be plenty of opportunities for salary increases later on. I am also able to live on my salary. My partner and I both work and earn approximately the same amount of money. We are able to afford to rent a three bedroom house in a good neighbourhood, two good cars, and we still have money to put aside into savings and investments. So that is really all you could ask for. Very liveable salary. I got a small bonus this year which was also a nice treat.
Graduate, Perth - 07 Nov 2023
People in similar roles earn more at other companies
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Nov 2023
Accounting firms always have the lowest pay and highest volume of work lol.
