Your role

The Sustainability team at Rabobank is expanding, seeking graduates to contribute to the integration of sustainability into the bank's broader agenda. The team translates and communicates sustainability initiatives, supporting Rabobank's commitments to emissions reductions, climate risk, nature, and modern slavery.

As a key component of Rabobank's role as a transition bank, the Sustainability team supports and facilitates farm practice change. The Sustainability Graduate will gain exposure to all key sustainability functions, contributing to both the Global Sustainability Strategy and the Regional Sustainability Plan. Through rotations, the graduate will conduct data analysis for strategy and portfolio steering, support policy implementation, and participate in ESG monitoring, reporting, and assessment.

The Sustainability Graduate will receive mentorship to develop expertise in the new mandatory climate reporting and disclosure requirements outlined in the Treasury Laws Amendment (Financial Market Infrastructure and Other Measures) Bill 2024.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank, the graduate will also participate in short-term rotations within risk and compliance, a rural or regional branch, and operations. Selected Graduates will have the chance to undertake a short-term international rotation at the global head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
