Your role

The Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. With capabilities covering end-to-end, the complete Development and New Product Introduction process they are managing and implementing global platform projects, tailored for our Original Equipment customers.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of the Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with them include: 

• Contributing to the product development and design of new products, components or systems.
• Collaborating with different engineering disciplines to ensure requirements are met with a design, and are verified and validated.
• Performing defect analysis for problem localisation and co-ordinate defect investigations.
• Creating and executing verification test designs and test cases where required.

About you

You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for the Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics).
• Demonstrate an understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect Management Lifecycle.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the architecture design.
• Possess excellent problem solving skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Matlab knowledge, and an understanding of scripting languages and industry based tools (i.e. Git) would be advantaegous.
