Design, manufacture and evaluate hardware that will be integrated into Skyborne's UAS. These projects are core to enhancing the existing performance of the drone and developing new platforms to keep the technology on the bleeding edge. Areas of continuous improvement cover aspects of motor speed control, sensor integration, power train enhancement, and system-on-module integration.
As a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise in state estimation and control system design to develop innovative, reliable, and efficient GNC solutions to enable new and cutting-edge capabilities for Skyborne's UAS products. You'll have ownership of GNC systems throughout the complete development lifecycle, from initial idea to system deployment, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project goals are met. Day-to-day, you will perform detailed GNC analyses of control and navigation system design, as well as analysing research and development test data, and supporting GNC system integration and test efforts, including flight testing.
