The Summer Vacation Program is a dynamic and comprehensive opportunity for talented engineering university students to gain invaluable practical experience during their summer break. This immersive program will expose you to a range of exciting projects and challenges, providing you with hands-on experience that complements your academic knowledge. This position will be based in the Operations business unit in the Perth office.
Key program features:
Buddying and guidance: You will be paired with a dedicated buddy who will provide ongoing support, guidance, and feedback throughout the program. The buddies are typically sourced from their year 2 graduate cohort eager to share their knowledge and help you excel.
Real-world projects: You will work on real-world projects that tackle complex engineering problems. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply theoretical concepts, enhance your problem-solving skills, and gain practical insights into project management and collaboration.
Networking opportunities: You'll have numerous networking opportunities with professionals in the industry, allowing you to build valuable connections that may benefit your future career. About you
Qualifications:
Currently studying mechatronics/electrical engineering at an Australian university
They accept applications from students in their second year of studies or beyond but preference will be given to penultimate-year students (those graduating in 2025 and ready to join our full-time Graduate Program in 2026).
Strong academic performance and a passion for engineering and innovation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on challenges.
