What is the hardest application process for internship at Rheinmetall?

Engineering Student

Monash University

Based on Raeph's experience as a student engineer at Rheinmetall, who is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Queensland, the hardest part of the intern application process was during the assessment.

Participants are placed in a group with strangers and given a task to design a component for one of the company's vehicles within a tight 30-minute timeframe. The challenge is further intensified when they restrict certain actions, like sketching or talking, which adds stress and requires applicants to adapt their communication methods effectively. It's a test of both collaboration within the group and individual performance in an interview-like setting, making it the most difficult aspect of the process.
